A spacetime instantaneous Green kernel is not singular only on the full spacetime diagonal. Equation (eq:WF) exhibits equal-time singularities at spatially separated points. Accordingly, a shorthand comparison with a full diagonal delta cannot be used as a literal wavefront-set identity.
The explicit instantaneous kernel in BFHPR (Section 5.2) must be analyzed together with the other graph factors. The present proposition concerns that kernel type alone; it does not assert that a particular complete graph has an off-diagonal divergence.
