A successor must fix one collapse spacetime, its initial state, and a propagated positive-frequency packet observable. It must then prove:

  1. the affine or characteristic identification used by the packet;

  2. the relevant two-point regularity after characteristic restriction;

  3. the peeling and propagation estimates;

  4. tail control sufficient for the noncompact packet smearing;

  5. convergence to (eq:packetlaw), with a stated error.

Theorem thm:peeling supplies a local comparison tool only after its assumptions have been verified. It is not the missing global collapse proof.
