Covariance orientation. With conjugate-linear annihilation tests, $A_{ij}=⟨{b_j}^{†}{b}_i⟩$, while $⟨{b_i}^{†}{b}_j⟩=A_{ji}$. The characteristic function, passive transformation, and Wick formula use this convention consistently.

Orthogonality is not independence. Joint normality comes from quasifreeness and the full occupation matrix, not from two means.

Two separate window approximations are not a joint port. The compact tests are jointly orthonormalized. A shared-port matrix interaction captures them simultaneously and explicitly contains the required memory mixing.

Background modes are retained. The participating input has dimension at most four in its one-particle restriction and includes nonvacuum background covariance. Auxiliary vacuum ports are new model preparations.

Errors are derived at named interfaces. Joint preparation and assignment are priced once. Shared Hamiltonian perturbations are not silently replaced by the sum of two one-packet histogram errors.

A global control bound is not a support-only bound. The sharp extraction tail uses the defined global block behavior. An arbitrary outside-domain implementation requires the separately stated square-root estimate.

Count clipping and coherent approximation differ. Equation (eq:jointtail) is an exact record probability. Equation (eq:coherenttail) controls a coherent state comparison, including references.

Failure labels stay visible. Raw words, decoder values, setting, and failure records remain in the comparison. Statistical samples do not discard failures.

Tomography is a repeated-preparation statement. Reference-stable one-shot correctness does not prove independent trials or reconstruct an inaccessible reference state.

Compressed Wick tests require their own baseline. The finite saturated output is generally not Gaussian. A truncated cumulant is not automatically zero.

Equal target marginals need not imply equal actual records. The no-information theorem concerns all apparatus-accessible inputs, not an omitted environment or spectator.

Departure is not mechanism identification. A certified departure from this specified semiclassical state does not establish quantum gravity, recovery, evaporation, or a firewall resolution.
