A continuous homogeneous sphere, Gaussian-smeared microscopic constituents, and a centre-of-mass wave packet are distinct inputs. Packet width is not the regularization length. Cross terms of microscopic constituent form factors cannot be discarded by renaming the prescription.

The underground radiation study of Donadi and collaborators tests the universal microscopic prescription considered there Donadi2021. Transferring that result requires matched normalization, constituent smearing, temporal spectrum, and charge-radiation dynamics. It is not a universal exclusion of every macroscopic effective decoherence generator.
