Example: Access to excluded registers

An operation on retained $S$ has no immediate destructive counterpart. Reading $R$ during continuation may permit a larger coherent-control construction, but not this theorem. Coupling to the coherent joint state on $S\otimes A$ can distinguish recording from destructive readout.
