Stabilizer structure and why the proposed implication fails › The resource convention must be fixed · lines 771–789
Fix a qubit tensor decomposition and its Pauli frame. A Clifford unitary normalizes the Pauli group. A pure stabilizer state is a Clifford image of a computational basis state. The convex hull of such states is denoted . A state outside this convex hull has stabilizer magic in this declared convention VeitchEtAl.
The classification concerns operations and prepared states, not a promise that every arbitrary diary input is a stabilizer state. In particular, a Clifford program can process an unknown nonstabilizer diary.
Bosonic Gaussianity, fermionic Gaussianity, and qubit Cliffordness are not identified. An arbitrary qubit dictionary can preserve channel recovery while changing the Pauli-frame description. A magic claim must consequently fix its dictionary before evaluation.
