Remark: Why intermediate sites matter
Uniform metric estimates on all sites · lines 653–659
Theorem thm:metric is not restricted to hubs. An intermediate vertex may be physically close to a crossing lane to which it has no direct graph edge. The detour to hubs costs , which vanishes. This resolves the intermediate-vertex obligation needed for uniform cone convergence.
