Merely excluding pure dilations as group elements is not the same as fixing the scale factor of every causal automorphism. The calibrated clause makes the intended requirement explicit.

For $D=1$, causal order alone admits independent increasing reparametrizations of the null coordinates Zeeman. The concrete conditional action theorem does not require that classification, because its group is Poincare by construction.
