There are genuine relations between quantum error correction and reconstruction in established holographic settings AlmheiriDongHarlow, and between entropy, geometry, and relative entropy under their respective gravitational hypotheses RyuTakayanagi,JLMS. The present refusal is a refusal of identification without those hypotheses, not a denial of those external results.

Operator-algebra reconstruction of a proper logical subalgebra is also a different target from recovery of the entire code. Constancy of a complement for the whole matrix algebra must not be imposed as the universal criterion for every weaker operator-reconstruction task.
