Constant complement and exact recovery

This is the exact code-recovery condition in the Knill–Laflamme framework and the constant-complement interface reported in Em05-B KnillLaflamme1997,CheungEm05B. Constancy of the complement on only the four preparations in (eq:squareensemble) is insufficient: those states do not span the ${\sigma }_y$ direction.
