State-dependent geometry does not automatically define a channel

Consequently, arbitrary-code recovery requires a linear physical evolution on the code and its auxiliaries. One may use a geometry generated by a fixed macrostate and bound the code-dependent correction, or derive a joint quantum evolution. Solving a state-by-state mean-field geometry and subsequently calling the result a single CPTP code channel is not sufficient.
