Classical records cannot replace an unknown quantum diary · lines 983–995
For a qubit, every record-only reconstruction has error at least . The hypothesis is that only the classical register is retained: a surviving quantum memory, or quantum side information supplied to the receiver, is a different access task.
A classical record may identify a basis label or support repeated-preparation tomography. It does not preserve an arbitrary unknown quantum state and its reference correlations in one run.
