Remark: A current-specific ambiguity statement
Noether normalization and renormalized current › Point splitting and the complex first jet · lines 627–635
The preceding argument is not inferred from the stress-tensor ambiguity theorem. The two observables have different renormalization freedoms. Analyticity makes the selected point-split expression finite; the declared covariance class controls its allowed finite changes. Neither statement supplies apex counterterms or a contact classification for a current–current product.
