Remark: Not an unrestricted singular-metric derivative

Definition def:Ward extends a regular, already-cancelled invariant equation by a smooth differential operator. It does not define products of the conical connection with delta derivatives. Likewise, the trace is the smooth mixed trace; we do not first lower or raise distributional indices with the singular metric at $\mathcal{W}$. All claims of Ward compatibility below refer to this definition.
