Finite membership and complete separation
Coverage and the evaluation contract › Finite membership and complete separation · lines 1031–1041
Without complete coverage, annihilation of the displayed columns establishes blindness only to the displayed correction subspace.
A finite fit has a different direction of implication: proves finite membership. Completeness is needed for the claimed full image, rank, and left kernel; existence of this particular fit requires only that its used columns be allowed.
