A finite experiment specifies:

  1. the prescribed geometry and laboratory of Section sec:geometry;

  2. finitely many live quantum names and their qubit tensor factors, with all port locations;

  3. accessible matrix algebras, acting as the identity on inaccessible names;

  4. a finite instruction tree containing preparation, allocations, gates, destructive readouts, records, causal classical controls, transport, and storage reservations.

Every used control input is preinstalled data or an explicitly available causal record. No inaccessible spectator is read.

This is the interface discipline of I-B and En03-A CheungIB,CheungEn03. It is not inferred from the classical field equations.
