A general basis change is not a coordinate transformation. For example, a computational-basis clock state is deterministic in that basis and has a uniform law after a Hadamard basis change, while the event and all geometric coordinates can remain fixed. A coordinate relabelling does not perform that physical change of observable.

The geometric readings of these manipulations are correspondingly limited: they select a clock observable, a conditional matter state, or a permitted future continuation. They do not change (eq:metric), alter the defect dimension, or move the readout event into its own past.

If a continuation retains the binary record, the already proved binary contrast remains available. If it discards or overwrites that record, no general contrast-preservation assertion is made. Model-specific cutoffs remain unchanged throughout.
