IX-A-ST@1#thm:causal

Back to manuscript

Suppose each port of the complete operational network is assigned a regular host event and every dependency edge is implemented by an actual future-causal curve inside the supported presentation. Then actual intervention influence is contained in scheduled ancestry, which is contained in the prescribed metric causal past of the joint output.

Proof. The first inclusion is Theorem thm:locality. Concatenating the installed causal curves along a network path gives the second. Proposition prop:nosignal gives exact no-signalling outside that region.
