Remark: Why the stronger claim is not inferred
The boundary-sensitive topology › Pointwise multiplication: the exact topological claim · lines 1050–1059
The theorem is a statement about multiplication by a fixed factor. Its proof does not give uniform control over arbitrary bounded sets of varying factors. Consequently it is not a hypocontinuity theorem.
This distinction is essential: the normal-topology mixed-Wick obstruction uses a stronger multiplication hypothesis. Nothing here asserts that the classical topology already supports such a quantum multiplication.
