IX-B-ST@1#rem:subtraction
Subtracting from a positive-cutoff coefficient changes a coefficient of an already fixed old product. It is a numerical comparison prescription, not an unchanged old Wick product.
Conversely, assigning only a finite value at the sharp kernel cannot make the unchanged divergent regular sequence sequentially continuous. The finite part does not remove VII-C's incompatibility CheungVIIC,CheungVIID.
