IX-C-ST@1#prop:Cpresentation
If a coefficient prescription descends through every actual presentation kernel and glues consistently on its actual tensor domain, its value is independent of presentation. No such conclusion follows from agreement of formal labels alone.
Proof. The difference of two presentations is a relation annihilated by descent. Any further change of domain decomposition is annihilated by the gluing condition.
