The IX-A identity

is equality of actual kernels IXA (prop:adjoint, thm:presentation). Dropping the delta term does not preserve the argument and is not an admissible presentation change.

Theorem thm:presentation is conditional on descent. It cannot be used to supply the missing descent proof.
