Example: A finite certificate cannot establish a limit
Stage 3: an implicit limit is not a finite evaluation · lines 1020–1027
Fix any finite set of system sizes. Two sequences of continuous functions can agree at every one of those sizes, while one converges and the other alternates forever between the constant functions zero and one at later sizes. Thus even an exact finite certificate cannot logically verify a claimed limiting law without additional uniform estimates.
