At a fixed total-variation threshold such as $1/4$, the right-hand side of (eq:tv-comparison) grows as $n^{1/3}$. Thus a mixing-time bound at that threshold does not supply a rescaled correlation process limit. It also does not identify a nondegenerate limiting law.
