An upper bound is not a strict equality
Stage 4: hypothesis tests on explicit models › An upper bound is not a strict equality · lines 1084–1093
The strict-area-law theorem of Kim–Lin–Ranard–Shi uses exact entropic conditions in its own geometric setting and constructs a commuting parent under those hypotheses KimLinRanardShi. An upper inequality does not supply its hypotheses. Literal equalities also require care about empty regions, topology, and boundary conventions; a topological term is not defined by fitting an upper allowance.
