Remark: Calibration is an input, not a reported laboratory result

The paper proves the conversion to $b_{\mathrm{cal}}$, not an apparatus calibration establishing these allowances. A reduced preparation bound alone does not identify a logical channel when the device environment is correlated with the input. Preparation independence or an appropriate joint bound is required. The simulation choice $b_{\mathrm{cal}}=0$ is a model assumption, not evidence of perfect laboratory calibration.
