Remark: Bounded scores are not binary counts

A zero score for unavailable readout is not a binary pass indicator. It must not be inserted into a binomial formula as a retained success.

A bounded score $z\in [-1,1]$ can be converted to a binary record using an independent trusted coin with pass probability $(1+s_{j}z)/2$. That randomization and its bias model must be declared. The bounded-score Hoeffding procedure needs no such conversion.
