Example: Classical transmission can survive complete dephasing

The qubit channel

transmits the two computational-basis symbols without error. Thus its classical capacity is one bit per use, attaining the qubit-output dimension bound.

It is measure-and-prepare, so no receiver-only postprocessing recovers the identity on an unknown qubit. The classical transmission task and unknown-state recovery task are different even in this elementary example.
