A qubit damping channel specifies input and output matrix algebras and a CPTP map. The capacity task additionally specifies messages, allowed coding operations, channel uses, and decoding error. None of these data specifies:

  • a spacetime metric or gravitational mediator;

  • a horizon, radiation algebra, or evaporation dynamics;

  • a generalized entropy functional or island extremization;

  • a gravity-generated-entanglement preparation experiment;

  • an exhaustive classical-gravity comparison family.

The same finite channel can be installed as a laboratory noise model with no gravitational interpretation. A classical capacity value therefore does not determine those additional objects.

Likewise, a thermal population is not a time-indexed radiation-entropy history. No Page curve follows from a stationary channel parameter or from an optimized entropy difference.

Cheung's static-record and source/readout separations are appropriate methodological comparisons CheungOai265A,CheungI,CheungEn07C. They are not missing gravitational premises supplied by the capacity formula.
