The coefficient is the familiar four-dimensional scalar improvement normalization CCJ,Polchinski. In dimension $d>1$, the corresponding coefficient is $1/(d-1)$.

This theorem solves the improvement calculation once the scalar is supplied. It does not classify all tensor-potential improvements and does not prove the source's scalar-extraction step.
