Title: Prime Predecessors with an Even Number of Prime Factors.
Abstract: We prove that there are infinitely many primes p for which $p-1$ is squarefree and has an even number of prime factors. Equivalently, there are infinitely many primes p with ${}mu(p-1)=1$.
This abstract is a catalogue record. It is not a verification and not a premise. It does not close O.1. O.1 stays NOT_CLOSED. No quantum coefficient is admitted. No compilation is asserted.
