Abstract: For every finite N ≥ 2, we prove that undeformed ${}mathop{{}mathrm{SU}}{}nolimits (N)$ BFSS matrix quantum mechanics has exactly one normalizable zero-energy state after removing the center of mass. This establishes the threshold-bound-state conjecture.
