Title: A torsion-free counterexample to reduced Baum–Connes injectivity.
Abstract: We disprove rational injectivity of the coefficient-free reduced Baum–Connes assembly map for torsion-free groups. Specifically, we construct a finitely generated torsion-free discrete group whose degree-zero assembly map has a kernel class of infinite order.
This abstract is a catalogue record. It is not a verification and not a premise. It does not close O.1. O.1 stays NOT_CLOSED. No quantum coefficient is admitted. No compilation is asserted.
