Remark: Terminology

The name “ambiguity tolerance” is retained for correspondence with the simulation. Mathematically $A_{\theta }$ is visual-reference accuracy under a midpoint cue. Interpreting it as selectivity requires successful endpoint performance and an explicit task interpretation. It is not, by itself, a measure of cognitive flexibility or clinical resistance to distraction.
