Definition: Permitted response prescription class

A permitted response is a real retarded distribution $R$ on ${\mathbb{R}}^4$ that:

1. agrees with (eq:cone-response) away from the origin;

2. has scaling degree at most four at the origin;

3. is used as a translation-covariant relative-coordinate kernel $R(x-y)$.

No larger prescription or state class is included.
