Proposition: Approximate no-influence allowance

Suppose an actual endpoint channel $\Gamma$ is within half-diamond distance $e$ of a specified channel ${\Gamma }_0$. If ${\Gamma }_0$ gives identical referenced outputs for two allowed inputs, then their actual outputs have trace distance at most $2e$.

Proof. Insert the common ideal output between the two actual outputs and use the triangle inequality.
