Discussion and mathematical release

The source's three operations are meaningful computational interventions, but their displacement metric omits important controls. The most defensible comparison records the complete budget vector, uses exact structural counts, matches only on supported targets, and distinguishes acute, challenged, and modulation-removed checkpoints.

The positive classical results are conditional: a signed sparse update can decrease a smooth local loss; a margin can certify stress survival; a complete perturbation allowance can certify a ranking. They do not prove that the source's three default protocols have a universal order.

The quantum extension gives exact additional mathematics. Its population-only restriction is classical. Its phase-sensitive task, node conversion, and Bell-reference diagnostics use genuinely noncommuting state and measurement structures. They remain finite mathematical experiments, not evidence of quantum processing in the supplied simulation or in a biological antidepressant mechanism.
