Matching, reporting, and endpoint tests

The tests exercise exact mask endpoints, no random-stream consumption at zero regrowth, unpriced modulation, and matching rejection. They are not a numerical regression certificate.

The repaired experiment should explicitly pass the configured learning-rate grid, metric, and targets. For the source's listed grids, the default one-rate adaptation sweep contains $11+11+9=31$ candidates across the three families. Using all five declared adaptation learning rates gives $11+55+9=75$. These are candidate counts, not independent training-seed counts.
