Optimal capacity and actual performance are different
Optimal capacity and actual performance are different · lines 922–935
These are architecture-class counterexamples, not fits to the four-cluster experiment. The first example is compatible with Theorem thm:optimalrisk: a suboptimal checkpoint can improve despite a smaller feasible class.
The equal-mask stress counterexamples in Psy01-A and Psy03-A provide a related warning CheungPsy01A,CheungPsy03A. Neither scar count nor clean accuracy is a sufficient statistic for stress vulnerability.
