Psy03-B@1#eq:contrast
At a common complete checkpoint, useful paired interventions are:
immediate deletion versus no deletion;
the same immediate deletion marked permanent versus regrowable;
subsequent maintenance versus frozen parameters;
common modulation versus assigned modulation;
a common fixed challenge versus a changing challenge schedule.
The second pair isolates future repair eligibility. It initially differs only in the scar label, as in Proposition prop:latent. The first pair necessarily changes effective weights and the active mask as well.
For immediate deletion, define
For two longitudinal policies , define the procedure-level contrast
The exogenous law and its coupling are part of the experiment.
Common streams do not force later parameters to remain equal when policies differ. Those parameter changes can be mediators of the policy effect.
If future threshold decisions may differ by branch, the estimand is a closed-loop policy effect. A controlled direct-effect comparison instead fixes a common admissible event plan. A deletion set must remain eligible in the branch to which it is applied.
