A complete augmented state

The source creates a fresh Adam optimizer at every training invocation. Its ordinary training function sets hidden stress to zero during training; the scheduled adaptation function specifies its own stress and gain schedule. These are different maps.

A longitudinal cycle has named stages:

Maintenance ${\mathcal{T}}_t$ includes training and allowed repair. The controller record $R_t$ contains its sample, challenge, diagnostics, uncertainty, and decision. The update ${\mathcal{U}}_t$ performs the predeclared structural operation.

Pre-challenge performance and post-scar structure are different observations. They must not be labeled as properties of the same checkpoint.
