A complete repair record should retain:

  1. current stored and effective weights;

  2. active masks and any separately declared forbidden set;

  3. immutable pre-pruning reference weights;

  4. score type: stored derivative, effective derivative, activation statistic, or another declared score;

  5. exact integer counts, eligibility, and tie convention;

  6. initialization type and scale;

  7. optimizer reset or retained-state policy;

  8. consolidation data, schedule, and random streams.

If all scores are zero, the routine must explicitly reject, return zero repairs, or invoke a declared fallback. Those decisions are different algorithms.
