The uncued task is not merely difficult. Its admitted inputs do not identify the current rule. The duplicated function makes a memoryless mapping optimal at population accuracy $3/4$. A recurrent classifier approaching that value need not have learned online rule inference.

Switch metrics require a second audit. Immediate response repetition is not adherence to the old function on a new point. Old-function responses on informative points are better specified, but still describe behavior rather than an identified internal representation.

Repair and matching require separate interface audits. A masked stored derivative, an effective-weight derivative, a restoration reference, a reopened mask, and an executed intervention are distinct objects. Interpolation does not remove those distinctions.
