Normal ordering the stress alone is not this prescription. At regulated level,

The two extra terms are linear contraction remainders. Full cubic ordering subtracts them before removing cutoffs. The theorem does not assert convergence of their unregulated loop restrictions. It also does not assert an operator on the vacuum or a closable unregulated generator.
