Two potential transcription errors are resolved before the proofs.

First, the convention

L_{h}^{+} = h^{μν} \partial_{μ} \partial_{ν} + D (h)^{ν} \partial_{ν}, P S = L_{h}^{+} ϕ

and our convention $L_{h} = - L_{h}^{+}$ , $P S = - L_{h} ϕ$ , define the same response, not opposite responses. Their raw currents therefore agree.

Second, with the retarded convention

R_{1, 1} = i (T_{2} - V ϕ), u_{f} = - G_{A} f,

the represented test function is

q_{g, h, f} = Q_{g h} u_{f} .

An additional minus sign in this formula would contradict both the retarded contraction and the Duhamel equation. Appendix app:signs gives the full audit.
