The following distinctions are mathematical, not terminological.

  1. A first-order compensated scalar symbol does not automatically identify the scalar correction selected by a switched dynamical prescription.

  2. An external-metric coefficient linear in the scalar field does not construct products of a local quantum graviton field.

  3. A finite collection of graviton modes, even with a well-defined quadratic operator, does not by itself give a local covariant metric field.

  4. A prescribed metric response to scalar stress does not create an independent graviton algebra.

  5. Representability of a pairing on a fixed two-dimensional TT plane does not decide representability of a second-order pairing on a dense infinite-dimensional TT space.

  6. A finite operational measurement characterization supplies no Einstein–scalar interaction, relational renormalization, or localized gravitational apparatus.

  7. Finite contact separation for a different tree action does not classify the finite renormalizations of this observable.

No theorem in this paper uses any of those identifications.
