The analytical data consist of:

  1. the chart, , , and the fixed initial data prescriptions;

  2. compact switches, tests, and gauge generators in ;

  3. a relatively compact open plateau , with its closure separated from ;

  4. compact truncated past cones for all evaluations, with positive margin inside the developing laboratory.

Solutions are determined from their stated initial data, with no independent incoming lateral-boundary data.

Supportedness is a dependence condition. It does not require the metric coefficients themselves to have compact support or compact Cauchy data.
