Let finite Hermitian and a state satisfy

Suppose a complete orthonormal clock basis satisfies, at its declared readings ,

Then

where . All reading probabilities equal .

The same evolution statement on requires stationarity of the full extension, not merely its marginal.

Proof. Stationarity gives

Insert the covariant into the partial-trace expression for and use invariance of partial trace under clock conjugation. This gives the displayed equality. Its traces are equal and sum to one. The extended proof is the same precisely when the extended stationarity hypothesis holds.
