A contractible vacuum patch has trivial peripheral winding and therefore trivial peripheral affine product in a compatible flat development. Here the updated particle star has primitive winding one and affine product .

The distinction is not merely that a particle lies somewhere in a large declared region. The particle is the common endpoint of the emerging edges, and its incidence valence changes. The outgoing six-face product explicitly includes the same nontrivial identification that appears in the collar.

The construction therefore places the conical identification inside the changing geometric interface while preserving the stated observation boundary.
