Remark: Distance equality on the punctured cone
Causal embedding, realized routes, and robustness › The conservative slicing-parameter speed · lines 787–793
A spatial distance defined as an infimum need not be realized by a path in the regular part: the limiting minimizer could meet the removed apex. Consequently a statement at exact distance equality needs a realized regular path. Our benchmark supplies such paths in a convex regular chart.
